It can be intimidating when you at first approach a computer.  What is a mouse?  These and other questions can be answered responsively.  We will show you all the basic computer functions to empower you. The computer keyboard has a very similar feel of a typewriter keyboard.

You will first familiarize yourself with basic computer hardware. Move the mouse  and/or touch pad around. No worries we will help you make sense of what’s happening on-screen – you will learn more and more as you go along. The first step is to become comfortable with the mouse and/ or touch pad. Whether you are using a laptop or desk top computer, we will make this a great easy learning experience for you.

The task you will be able to perform are as follows:

  • Basic typing skills
  • Moving the cursor on-screen with the mouse or touchpad
  • Clicking, right-clicking and double-clicking the mouse

Using basic keyboard functions such as backspace, enter/return, space bar, delete, tab, shift and caps lock
